DESCRIPTION:SummaryThe Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy will organise a half day closed door roundtable discussion to discuss Malaysia’s readiness to use vaccines for prevention, management, and treatment of dengue.BackgroundThis roundtable is aimed to be a platform for relevant stakeholders to discuss and consider the potential efficacy, safety and cost effectiveness of using a dengue vaccine, and whether this could be a viable option in the prevention and management of dengue in this country.\nAccording to the World Health Organisation, the incidence of dengue has grown dramatically around the world in recent decades.
